Who hits when, and what counts as part of the court.

    The pairs hit the ball alternately.
  2. b
    The ball is in play from a valid serve until a let is called or the point is decided.
  3. c
    A ball that has bounced on the opponents' side may be returned before its second bounce.
  4. d
    Parts of the court: the inner walls, the metal fence including its frame, the floor, the net and the posts. Ceilings, lights and anything outside the enclosure are not.
    This definition is what makes Rules 13 to 15 work.
